Showcasing Non-Invasive Cancer Screening Technology Powered by Breath-Analysis AI
MediScan Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a Japanese medical technology startup, exhibited in the “M-novator” innovation zone at Medical Taiwan 2026 (Taiwan International Medical & Healthcare Exhibition)—a leading international medical trade fair for the Asia-Pacific region—held at the Taipei World Trade Center (Exhibition Hall 1) from June 25 to 27, 2026.


At the exhibition, MediScan presented its non-invasive breath-analysis AI technology, designed to detect Stage 0 cancer at an early stage. By using AI to analyze the components contained in a person’s exhaled breath, the technology aims to identify signs of cancer without the need for blood sampling or radiation exposure. Because the test is completed simply by breathing into the device, it places minimal physical burden on the examinee. As an accessible new form of screening, it is expected to find applications in the fields of health checkups and preventive medicine.
